Working in partnership with Captivelight Photography, we offer a variety of photographic workshops, giving you the chance to get hands on with your camera and experience a range of different exotic animals in a studio environment.
Variety Pack
This Photography Experience Day gives you the opportunity to try out a little bit of our 4 most popular sessions.
On this day you can expect Harvest Mice, Reptiles, Frogs and Invertebrates, with a short period of time allocated to each animal type making this an ideal “taster” session of what we can do.
The day runs from 10am until 12pm, breaking for an hour lunch period then continues at 1pm until 3pm.
Macro Magic
A chance to photograph some small things with your Macro Lens.
This day is all about trying to get up close and personal with a variety of critters using your Macro Lens and our lighting equipment. Using our lighting allows you to choose between shooting wide open for maximum background blur or shooting very small apertures to maximise depth of field. The choice is yours!
The day runs from 10am until 12pm, breaking for an hour lunch period then continues at 1pm until 3pm.
Reptiles Plus
A chance to photograph a variety of Reptiles, Frogs and other animals close up and personal.
This day will see you photographing a mixed variety of Geckos, Lizards, Frogs, Snakes and other creatures close up and personal in our purpose built and fully equipped photography room. During the Workshop we will use a variety of props and sets to ensure variety in your images, and you are welcome to bring your own should you wish to do so (subject to being suitable for use with the animals).
The day runs from 10am until 12pm, breaking for an hour lunch period then continues at 1pm until 3pm.
Mirror Images
This is a special Weekend Public Photo Day where you will get the opportunity to photograph a variety of animals on a mirror board. This is a varied day that will include a wide variety of creatures which may include Reptiles, Invertebrates, Snakes, Frogs and anything else that we can pose on a mirror board on the day!
Mirror Images is a half day session which will last for 2.5 hours with a maximum of 5 photographers so everyone gets ample time with each animal.
